3 Decades. 1 Vision.
THIRTY-ONE YEARS AGO, BOAT MAKERS DIDN’T QUESTION THE RULES, LET ALONE BREAK THEM.
Charlie Pigeon, founder, owner, and active CEO of Tige had worked as an executive for most of the inboard boat manufacturers. He said, “I know I can do better.” He challenged the industry with his core values—not accepting the status quo and a passion for giving customers a dramatically unique experience—with boats that performed like crazy and were much more fun.
CHARLIE ESTABLISHED THE TIGE BRAND BECAUSE HE KNEW THERE WAS ANOTHER LEVEL THAT HADN’T BEEN REACHED YET.
We took the finest features of a hardcore tournament ski boat and turned it into a versatile boat that families around the world could enjoy.
Tige boats blew customers away—with their breakthrough styling, multi-sport versatility, roominess, luxury trim, easy to drive, and a thrilling experience on the water. In fact, when the first Tige began to make wakes, the world had never seen a boat quite like it resulting in it being named ‘Rookie of the Year’ by Waterski Magazine.
Charlie dared to give customers a new level of power with a boat that created feelings and an environment more exciting than a roller coaster—the freedom, the air, the water. People had to have it. The industry grew from hundreds of people to thousands who wanted that experience.
Celebrating their 31st anniversary, Charlie and the Tige team have continued to place innovation and passion at the heart of their boats and have maintained their core focus on building the best inboard towboats on the water.
