Controller

The Controller will provide leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, mitigate risk, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.  
 
Strategy, Planning and Management
·        Strategic business partner to senior executive leadership team.
·        Communicate, engage and interact with Board of Directors, CEO, COO and Executive Leadership Team.
·        Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company’s plan for growth and expansion.
·        Select and engage consultants, auditors and investors.
·        Recruit, interview, hire and manage accounting, IT, human resource and payroll personnel.
·        An Appreciation of the importance of corporate culture to company success.
·        Implement policies, procedures and processes as deemed appropriate by senior leadership. 
 
Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting
·        Develop and maintain monthly operating budget and annual company operating budget.
·        Prepare and present monthly financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss by division.
·        Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations.
·        Identify, develop and execute analysis of business initiatives, product launches and/or new service offerings.
·        Physical Inventory audits.
 
Accounting, General Ledger, Administration and Operations
·        Supervise the accounting department to ensure the proper functioning of all systems, databases and financial software.
·        Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, compliance and financial procedures.
·        Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data.
·        Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all local, state and federal tax returns.
·        Oversee the month-end close process, constantly reviewing procedures while eliminating inefficiencies.
·        Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions. 
 
Information Technology Management
·        Coordinate and direct the organization’s computer systems (information systems) and related activities.
·        Ensure the safety and security of the company’s network and electronic documents.
·        Risk management including, hardware, software, human error, spam, viruses and natural disasters.
 
Financial Management
·        Manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.
·        Oversee cash, investments and asset management area.
·        Explore new investment opportunities and provide recommendations on potential returns and risks.
·        Optimize and maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners.
·        Utilize forward-looking models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insight into the organization’s plans and operating budgets.
·        Sign payroll and Accounts Payable checks and initiate wires as needed.
 
Controller – Position Requirements
·        Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
·        CPA strongly preferred
·        Strong background in manufacturing cost accounting.
·         “Hands On” ERP Systems Experience – Epicor software preferred.
·        Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
·        Demonstrated leadership and motivational ability.

Computer Support Specialist

Analyze, program, and implement enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) software products by performing the following duties. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

CNC Technician

Reporting to Engineering, the CNC technician is responsible for overseeing all CNC cut plastic and vinyl components.

Job Responsibilities

  • Organize all CNC files: Improve nesting to reduce waste and verify no duplicate cuts
  • Digitize and organize vinyl patterns
  • Identify and implement efficiencies in cutting and distributing parts
  • Approve and document CNC Change requests made by production line and R&D department
  • Perform appropriate machine preventative maintenance
  • Understand the application/installation for each CNC cut part throughout the production line
  • Support R&D with special projects/Prototyping
  • Willingness to learn and problem solve 
  • Proficiency with PC’s 

Skills and Knowledge

  • Associate’s degree or 1+ years of equivalent technical experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD preferred. Knowledge of CNC programming in EnRoute and CutWorks a plus.
  • Team player and able to build and maintain relationships with both the production line and the R&D department
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Buyer

Tigé Boats is seeking a driven, hard-working individual to fill a full-time position as Buyer. This position is based out of Tige Boats Headquarters in Abilene, TX.

This position is responsible for supplier scheduling and monitoring delivery for purchased parts, interaction with suppliers in his/her area of responsibility, monitoring that appropriate inventory levels are maintained, and tracking supplier performance.

Responsibilities:  

  •  Utilizing ERP, establishes and maintains Purchase Orders and/or replenishment signals to assure a smooth flow of materials.
  • Coordinates logistics with Suppliers and 3PL to assure that materials are on site in a timely manner to facilitate accurate and adequate parts availability to meet customer demands. 
  • Manage consignment programs for materials and blanket purchasing agreements for commodity items.
  • Monitor, track and report on supplier compliance to delivery due dates, identify risks to late delivery, handle escalations with suppliers according to company procedures.
  • Maintains effective working relationship and communication with all departments.
  • Collaborates with Product Management, Engineering, and Production Planning in new product introductions and planned product discontinuations in order to minimize obsolescence and maximize customer’s delivery expectations. 
  • Collaborates with BOM admin to ensure Pricing is maintained accurately in ERP.  
  • Collaborates with A/P to ensure resolution of invoice discrepancies.
  • Supports cycle count and physical inventory activities. 

Graphic Designer

Tigé Boats is seeking a driven, hard working individual to fill a full-time position as Graphic Designer. Professional experience is preferred for the position but is not required, and will be based out of Tige Boats Headquarters in Abilene, TX.

The Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptualization and implementation of design solutions that meet Tigé marketing strategies. The Graphic Designer will be tasked with creation of design solutions, from concept to completion, in a wide range of graphic applications including: collateral materials, social media, environmental graphics, catalog publications, brand identity, point of purchase, video titling, multimedia and web interfaces. He/she presents visual solutions to Tigé corporate team and helps communicate strategies behind design ideas and executions. He/she also assists outside design professionals and agencies with corporate projects outside of the company. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assume creative responsibility for all corporate marketing projects through to completion. From concept and design to production on all print and web material 
  • Work closely with the Design & Marketing Director and marketing team to create collateral, promotional and advertising pieces 
  • Support the Sales Team in creating necessary sales and trade show material 
  • Support the Tigé dealer network in creating necessary corporate material 
  • Work closely with the Design & Marketing Director, and outside agencies on the design and production of the annual catalog and other marketing material 
  • Perform maintenance and updates tige.com through a content management system 
  • Assist with visual support of all online media 
  • Assist with content and visual creative for social media 
  • Available to assist in planning and art directing photo shoots 
  • Available to travel on occasion for company 
  • Manage Advertising Schedules and creative output in timely structure 
  • Manage all creative files in an easy access database 

DESIRED SKILLS:

Tige Boats is seeking an experienced tooler-plug builder-fiberglass fabricator.  

Ideal candidate will be highly motivated and self-directed craftsman able to work in a team environment, and also able to work independently.  Working knowledge of building prototypes and plugs and finishes and sanding and polishing best practices and techniques.  

Meticulous, quality and detail oriented and takes pride in work a must!
